KANYE West has addressed the anti-Semitic tweet he posted in 2022.
On Wednesday, a clip of the rap music star’s interview with Candace Owens in 2022 was released online.
At the time of the interview, Kanye, 46, sat down with the political commentator on her podcast Candace.
In the video, the Donda rapper revealed why he sent out the offensive post.
The deleted message read, “death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kanye’s entire tweet said, “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.
“The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew.
“You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”
Due to this, Ye was kicked off X and Instagram and lost many business deals.
Some brands include Balenciaga, Gap, and Adidas.
‘I WAS DRINKING’
On the podcast, Candace sat across from Kanye in chairs.
In the clip, Candace kept her eyes on the rapper while he had his on his phone.
He said, “I was drinking when I put up the DEFCON tweet.
“You wanna know what alcohol I had inside me? Hennessy. It turns us gray. The demons [come out].
Candace asked him why he didn’t come forward and explain that he was allegedly drunk.
Kanye West’s homes
Kanye West owns multiple homes across California and Wyoming, two of which have fallen into disrepair.
The father of four revealed that he didn’t want to be “discredited” and that the comments were his “truth.”
‘TOO LATE’
On X, fans shared their honest opinions on Kanye’s reasoning behind his tweet.
“It’s too late to apologize for this behavior,” one wrote.
Another said, “[He needs to] take responsibility!”
Since then, Kanye has been allowed back on Instagram where his most recent post discussed his album Vultures II with rapper Ty Dolla $ign.
In February, he dropped Vultures I after postponing the release date multiple times.
Following the release, Kanye held listening parties around the United States where his wife, Bianca Censori, 29, joined him.
