DUGGAR fans have been left convinced that Anna Duggar secretly attended Jana Duggar’s lavish wedding to Stephen Wissmann.
Photos and videos from the wedding were posted online by friends and family invited to attend, revealing who was there and in what capacity.
Alaythia Wissmann, Stephen’s sister, was among the many attendees to share sweet moments from the special day online.
She posted an Instagram Story that showed Jana, 34, and Stephen, 31, entering the reception for the first time as husband and wife.
“Mr & Mrs Wissmann,” she captioned the clip.
Fans, however, were more focused on who was visible in the background of the clip.
Eagle-eyed viewers picked out a woman whom they believed to be Anna, 36, sitting near where Jana and Stephen entered.
A grab from the moment she appeared in the clip was posted on a Reddit thread dedicated to the famous family with the caption, “I’m pretty sure that’s Anna.”
“I’d be surprised if she weren’t there. I’m curious why people think it’s surprising she was there,” one commenter wrote.
A second person noted, “Probably. That’s her sister-in-law’s wedding.”
“It sure is! It looks like Maryella or Madyson next to her,” suggested a third, referring to Anna’s daughters.
“It is. Someone posted it last night along with another screenshot of her oldest kid,” a user shared.
SHE’S BACK
In the years since Anna’s husband, Josh Duggar, has been in prison, where he is being held on child pornography-related charges, she has been keeping a low profile.
Anna is rarely seen in public and seldom shares anything on social media.
She resurfaced online back in May to defend former President Donald Trump after he was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records.
“Who knew it only took twelve votes to prematurely deliver the win for a presidential election?!?!” the former reality TV personality tweeted at the time.
Duggar Family Tree
How many children and grandchildren do Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have?
- Jim Bob and Michelle are parents to 19 children
- The couple has nine girls and 10 boys and all of their children have names that begin with the letter J
- Joshua, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace, and Josie, were all raised in the family home in Tontitown, Arkansas
She also used the hashtag #TrumpHasWon.
In her message, she suggested that because of the way the 12 jury members in the case voted, Trump supporters would still be eager to vote for him in November.
Duggar critics on social media slammed her for the take.
“Your husband is in prison. Maybe sit this one out,” one commenter reacted.
“Girl, just delete this,” demanded another.
“The audacity… being vocal about Trump after everything that’s come out about your husband,” stated a fourth.
“With Josh as your husband, I’m not surprised by this tweet,” confessed a fifth.
“Perhaps Josh can reach out and give him advice on being a convicted felon and prison?” joked someone else.
ALSO IN ATTENDANCE
Anna wasn’t the only rarely-seen Duggar in attendance at Jana’s wedding.
Her brother Justin, 21, who has distanced himself from the public eye in recent years, was photographed alongside Jeremy Vuolo and his wife Claire, 23.
Both men had on collared button-down shirts, and Justin added a suit jacket over top.
Justin’s wife, Claire, posed in a bright green dress, smiling for the camera.
Jill Dillard was also in attendance despite distancing herself from her family and their strict beliefs.
She was not given a role in the bridal party like many of her other siblings, however.
