JOY-ANNA Duggar and Austin Forsyth have found a buyer for their $369,000 Arkansas house, as the stars revealed they are moving into a rental while they find a new home.
Joy-Anna, 26, and Austin, 30, listed their three-bedroom, three-bathroom 1,737-square-foot home on the market for $369,000 on August 9.
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal the home has an offer pending, meaning they have found a buyer for the abode.
News of the potential sale comes after Joy-Anna revealed to her Instagram followers that the family is moving.
She captioned a photo with her husband and their children Gideon, Evelyn and Gunner, “WE ARE MOVING! This is our LAST family picture in our home of almost 5 years!
“We’re a sweaty mess after moving but this picture starts a new adventure! We are so so excited to see what the next few years hold.”
Joy-Anna said on her Instagram story of the move, “We have always dreamed of living on some land. Having room for the kids to roam, having a farm, all of that. The next right step for us was to move.
“We ended up moving two weeks ago. We are in a rental for a while.”
HOME SWEET HOME
The real estate listing for Austin and Joy-Anna’s home reads, “This incredible home sits on a .98-acre lot in the shadow of Mt. Kessler, offering a rare blend of space, privacy, and convenience.
“The sprawling front yard opens directly onto Kessler Mountain Regional Park, placing walking and biking trails right at your doorstep. This home, brimming with character, has been thoughtfully remodeled and updated to maintain its charm while providing modern comforts.
“The expansive porch is perfect for entertaining guests or simply unwinding as you enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. If you’re looking for the best of both worlds, a serene retreat with close proximity to the heart of town this property is a must-see.”
The home has hardwood floors throughout and an open floor plan.
The kitchen has white cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and an island.
The living room has multiple windows for natural light and a stone fireplace.
Joy-Anna’s dad Jim Bob bought their home for $30,000 in December 2010.
He sold it to them in September 2019 for only $10 and they moved in that December.
FINANCIAL ISSUES?
News of the move left fans concerned over potential financial problems.
One fan wrote of the move on Reddit,”Guess they banking money! They’re in a rental for the foreseeable future.”
A second said, “From owning your home to renting. Idk that seems like a step backwards but what do I know.”
In Touch reported Joy and Austin owed $1,321.65 in back taxes to the IRS in December 2023.
The couple had reportedly not paid their taxes in 2019, 2021, and 2022.
The tax debt was paid off in March 2024.

BUSINESS TROUBLES
The back taxes report came after The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed the Counting On alums sold another Arkansas property.
The duo sold an 11-acre lot for about $165,000 in November 2023.
In August 2022, the TLC alums originally bought the estate for about $159,500.
The pair initially planned to turn the property into an RV park, but their hopes were squashed last year.
In January 2023, KNWA reported Austin – who buys, renovates, and sells homes for a living – and his developer spoke at a town meeting to request to change the area zoned for agriculture to comply with zoning for an RV park.
Joy-Anna’s husband explained that the campground for RVs would be a “great experience for campers and the community of Elkins.”
However, the planning commission denied their rezoning request after they held a hearing with the public members.
SHOW CANCELLATION
The failed career venture came after the family’s long-running series, Counting On, was canceled in June 2021.
The series was canceled after Jim Bob and Michelle’s oldest son, Josh, was arrested on child pornography charges.
Josh was found guilty and sentenced to 151 months in FCI Seagoville in Texas.
CAREERS
Joy-Anna’s husband buys, renovates and sells homes for a living.
As for Joy-Anna, she promotes products on social media and has a family YouTube page.
Joy-Anna’s salary was revealed in court documents from when the Duggar sisters sued the City of Springdale, police department employees and others for invasion of privacy after the release of their oldest brother Josh’s 2006 molestation police report caused “emotional distress.”
In Joy-Anna’s deposition from the case, which was dismissed, taken on August 30, 2021, she was asked if she suffered “monetary injuries” from the disclosures.
Joy-Anna responded, “I do advertising online and I have lost multiple deals because of it, being a majority of them, actually.”
“I have companies – either I reach out to companies – or they reach out to me and – to promote different products.
“Could be beauty, could be, you know, baby stuff, home supplies, electronics, pretty much anything. I normally take pictures and post them with, like, links for people to – to use to get, you know, a discount.”
The mom of three said she also receives income from her YouTube channel.
Joy-Anna said her income for 2020 for just her was $40,000.
When asked if that amount has built up over time, she responded, “Because I’ve been proactive in it, it has. But it’s also really hard to get new people to do advertising with me.
“Or they’ll – they’ll start and then they’ll cut it off.”
