JENELLE Evans ran errands with her daughter Ensley out in her new Las Vegas neighborhood after winning full custody of her little girl.
The U.S. Sun exclusively obtained photos of Jenelle, 32, holding her 7-year-old daughter’s hand at the post office and then at CVS on Saturday, September 28.
The Teen Mom 2 star sweetly held her little girl close as they walked through the parking lot.
Jenelle was decked out in red sweats while Ensley sported a pink ensemble.
BACK FOR NEXT SEASON?
Meanwhile, Jenelle recently returned to the franchise with Teen Mom: Next Chapter, which ended its latest season in September.
One insider close to the reality star claimed MTV hasn’t given Jenelle, 32, any indication as to whether they will be filming again with her next season.
But the dead silence from the network isn’t a good sign, the source explained.
The insider said even the production company doesn’t know why Jenelle hasn’t heard about filming, and that at the end of the day, it’s up to MTV.
Jenelle recently took to TikTok and responded to a fan’s comment asking if she was returning to the show.
“Honestly, I have no idea. So that’s why I’m just gonna continue to film my life and content on here, because I don’t know what their thoughts or ideas are right now,” she said to the camera.
“A lot of the stuff that we filmed for last season did not come out in last season, like a really important conversation with Jace.
“I know you guys saw like 30 seconds of it, but really it was a lot longer than that, and a lot more in-depth than that.
“So I thought that would put more clarity to the situation with my mom and me and Jace, that horrible triangle we had going on, but they decided not to air it, which, I don’t know, I thought that would be really important.
“Things aren’t filmed like they used to, and scenes aren’t as long as it used to be, so now it’s kind of like that’s why it’s my idea is to fill those holes on here,” she told her fans on TikTok before directing them to her YouTube.
The U.S. Sun reached out to MTV for comment.
FRESH START IN SIN CITY
The Teen Mom star recently relocated from North Carolina to Las Vegas following a split from her ex David Eason after he allegedly strangled her oldest son Jace, 15, on September 28, 2023.
A court insider previously told The U.S. Sun that despite the alleged abuse incident taking place over a year ago with little movement in court, the criminal felony case against Jace’s 36-year-old ex stepdad is still very much moving forward.
Jenelle and David’s relationship timeline
The tumultuous pair have had their fair share of falling outs
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans met David Eason on Tinder in September of 2015.
Jenelle got pregnant in April 2016 and announced she suffered a miscarriage, then she became pregnant again with her and David’s daughter, Ensley, a few months later.
The pair got engaged in February 2017 and tied the knot that September.
A year after saying “I do,” Jenelle called 911 and accused David of assaulting her outside their home. She would later call the incident “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding” and said she was “fine.”
In around May 2019, David shot and killed their French bulldog puppy named Nugget. Weeks after the incident, CPS took custody of all of the children, including their daughter, Ensley, Jenelle’s son, Kaiser, and David’s daughter, Maryssa.
When her children were returned to her, Jenelle fled to Tennessee with Kaiser and Ensley and filed an order of protection against David in October. She ultimately dropped the case and went back to him.
In the following years, the couple sparked split rumors as the pair would often unfollow each other on social media and update their Facebook relationship statuses.
As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, on February 23, 2024, Jenelle filed for separation from David. She stated that she filed the documents with “the intent that the separation be permanent” and claimed that Eason had “exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards [her]” throughout their marriage.
They said the case is “absolutely” still on and that it will “be calendared when it’s ready for David to come up for charges.”
David’s charges were upgraded to a felony after a grand jury indictment in January.
That insider said once its calendared it will be on for a felony trial.
Another source added that the 15-year-old is still expected to testify at the trial, whenever it happens.
The U.S. Sun exclusively reported that Jace told cops David had strangled him in front of a neighbor’s house in North Carolina in the fall of last year.
After the incident, Jace ran away from his mom’s house in North Carolina for a third time.
Immediately after Jace told authorities what allegedly happened with David, Child Protective Services took custody of the teen.
CPS kept Jace in their custody until they suddenly dropped the case and gave him back to her in early 2024, which provided for a complex situation for Jenelle, as David was still living at their home and he has a restraining order against him for the teen.
Before Jace went back to the house, David moved out and began living on the couple’s docked boat.
In February Jenelle filed for separation after 6 years of marriage.
FELONY CHARGE
David’s charges were upgraded to felony battery by strangulation in addition to his misdemeanor child abuse charge after the September incident.
After David’ was indicted on the new charges, a court spokesperson told The U.S. Sun that the grand jury “found enough evidence to take his case out of district court, where misdemeanors are held, and bring it to superior.”
According to the court documents from January, David “willingly harmed” Jace, and left marks on his arm and neck.
JENELLE’S DIVORCE DEMANDS
In Jenelle’s request for separation, Jenelle is asking for primary physical custody of her and David’s daughter Ensley.
She also wants child support.
Over the summer, the MTV star was given temporary sole custody of Ensley.
She is also asking the court to distribute the assets in her favor.
In North Carolina, you must first file for separation for a year before a court will grant your request for divorce.
