There’ll be a new look on Capitol Hill in January when the Trump Administration officially takes office.

Many in Donald Trump’s inner circle appear to have gone under the plastic surgeons knife, creating what is now being dubbed the ‘Mar-a-Lago’ face.

Defined by copious use of Botox, a Miami-bronze tan, puffy lips and silky smooth skin, plastic surgeons told DailyMail.com it was giving Trumpland an almost ‘plastic’ and ‘Real Housewives’ look.

Some have suggested that the shift in the appearance of Trump’s closest aides could be down to a desire to please the President-elect, who has been accused of having a preference for attractive subordinates.

Dr Anthony Youn, a plastic surgeon in Michigan, said: ‘It’s something you’d see in Real Housewives stars, a combination of Botox and filler… that are mildly to moderately overdone.

‘They don’t look distorted necessarily, but they also don’t look like they used to. It is definitely a plastic look, maybe a Kardashian look.’

He said MAGA stars like Lara Trump, who is married to Trump’s third child Eric, have undergone the biggest facial transformations.

Others included Matt Gaetz, who was nominated to be Attorney General for nine days before withdrawing in disgrace, and Kimberly Guilfoyle, who has been engaged to Trump’s eldest child Donald Trump Jr. since 2020.

There is also speculation that Lara Trump has received fillers in her cheeks and lips and a nose job, or rhinoplasty

Kristi Noem, 52, a Republican congresswoman from South Dakota who has been nominated to be Homeland Security secretary, was reported to have got her teeth straightened in March ahead of her push for a top job in Trump’s cabinet.

‘It’s all about her appeal to an audience of one,’ Republican strategist Ron Bonjean told the New York Times at the time.

‘The whole teeth thing almost looks like it was done for Trump to see. She is showing him she works well in front of the camera, that she has that star power he wants onstage with him, while fitting into the mode of women in the Trump universe.’

But Dr Youn suggests, however, that the shift in the appearance of the MAGA set is part of a wider trend.

‘The calling card for being wealthy used to be expensive bags to show off,’ he said, ‘but now it has almost become an expensive face — we are seeing it in younger people too’.

According to the Atlantic Trump is not a fan of plastic surgery and often finds the procedures appalling.

They reported: ‘Trump, who is generally appalled by plastic surgery, was disgusted to learn about the apparent extent of Loomer’s facial alterations.’

Kimberly Guilfoyle faced speculation that she had received plastic surgery most recently after she appeared at the Republican National Convention

The effect appears to extend to the men in Trumpland as well, with Matt Gaetz, 42 — former attorney general nominee — suggested to have had Botox in his forehead.

He appeared with arched eyebrows and a wrinkle-free complexion at the Republican National Convention in July, which plastic surgeons were quick to say was due to having too much Botox.

‘Matt is clearly one of those people who is getting too much Botox,’ Dr Corey Maas, a plastic surgeon in San Francisco, said. ‘If you can’t raise your eyebrows even a little, it looks odd and expresionless’.

‘In some ways, it is worse to have this in men, because you can get to a point where the eyebrows drop below the rim of the eyes — which can make you look evil frankly.’

Plastic surgeons said Lara Trump, 42, had likely had Botox in her forehead as well as filler into her lips and cheeks, which have become plumper over time.

They also noted her skin was much smoother, suggesting use of lasers they said, and that it had now taken on a more bronzed hue.

And on Kimberly Guilfoyle, 55, Dr Joel Kopelman — a plastic surgeon in New York City — said she had likely had too much Botox which had caused asymmetry in her face.

‘Overuse or misplacement of Botox can weaken the wrong muscles, leading to these outcomes of brow ptosis (dropping) and possibly some asymmetry around her mouth,’ he said.

‘Additionally, while fillers can create volume and lift, excessive use can lead to an overfilled or puffy appearance.’

He added: ‘Her cheeks and lips appear to have been augmented significantly, possibly crossing the line into ‘too much’, which can make the results less natural.’

Trump’s daughter Ivanka is also heavily rumored to have had plastic surgery.
