Eddie Murphy’s son gets engaged to Bad Boys actor’s daughter after three years of dating

TWO Hollywood stars will become family now their children have announced their engagement news.

Actor and comedian Eddie Murphy and Bad Boys star Martin Lawrence’s children have been dating for the past three years, and now announced they’ve taken the next step in their relationship.

Eddie’s son Eric and Martin’s daughter Jasmin both shared their engagement news to social media, as they shared their picture perfect proposal.

In a romantic video shared to both of their Instagram accounts, the lovebirds wrote: “11.27.2024. We’re engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter.”

In the video Eric could be seen leading Jasmin into a room filled with bouquets of flowers and roses on the floor.

The room also featured a huge heart on the wall and was filled with candles, making for a special moment as Eric got down on one knee with Jasmin instantly saying yes.

The couple have been dating since 2021, with friends, family and fans going wild for their happy news.

On the proposal video, one commenter wrote: “Omgggg. Imagine saying my grandfathers are Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. CONGRATULATIONS ON BEING ENGAGED.”

Another added: “So sweet! Congratulations to you both.”

“Just the classiest. And the comedic genius of those future babies is going to be off the charts!” said a third.

Eric’s father Eddie Murphy also recently opened up about how he feels for his son and Martin’s daughter to be dating.

The Shrek and Coming To America actor has previously worked with bad Boys actor Martin for two films, the 1992 film Boomerang and 1999 hit Life.

Eddie revealed: “They’re both beautiful, they look amazing together.

“And it’s funny, everybody’s like, ‘What is that baby gonna be funny?'”

Eric is the eldest child of Eddie and his former girlfriend Paulette McNeely, and Jasmin is Martin’s daughter from his previous marriage to Patricia Southall.
