TEEN Mom Jenelle Evans claimed that her former manager-turned boyfriend August Keen refused to give back her belongings and left her with a bruise on her face in a police report.
In a California police document exclusively revealed by The U.S. Sun, Jenelle, 33, told cops she and August, whose real name is Daniel Miranda, got into an altercation on January 18 during a birthday celebration at a friend’s house.
In the report, Jenelle claimed August had been drinking that night and took off with her purse after the altercation.
She claimed she was left with a bruise on her face as a result of the altercation with August, though it is unclear from the report exactly what transpired.
She also told police that she was frantically trying to contact August since the incident to return her belongings because she had to catch a flight back to Las Vegas.
As The U.S. Sun previously reported, Jenelle’s ex filed a restraining order against her just two days after the alleged altercation in which the former Teen Mom 2 star had filed a police report against him.
The restraining order was submitted via e-file on January 20.
RESTRAINING ORDER
In an exclusive statement, the MTV star’s ex claimed at the time, “Jenelle not only made the decision to accuse me of serious accusations, but she set out on a smear hate campaign against me, that hurt those around me that love and care for me.”
He then continued to call his ex a “dangerous woman with malicious intent.”
An insider at the time alleged that Jenelle was also planning to file her own restraining order against August, but it’s not clear if that has happened yet.
Jenelle moved her family from North Carolina to Las Vegas, near where August lives, over the summer.
Jenelle and her brood have had a tough time since moving.
TROUBLE IN SIN CITY
Soon after relocating, August called 911 and accused Jenelle of consuming up to 12 drinks and committing physical violence.
The 33-year-old mom also moved her middle child, Kaiser, to his grandmother’s in Tennessee, but made an about face on the decision a few weeks later.
In another painful 911 call in the fall, Jenelle told police her oldest son Jace, 16, had smashed her belongings.
NEW LIFE IN VEGAS
Jenelle made the cross country move after filing for separation from her ex David Eason after six tumultuous years of marriage.
In 2023, David allegedly strangled her oldest son Jace in an incident outside a neighbor’s home.
The alleged incident happened in September of 2023, and felony charges were filed against David the following January.
After the alleged strangulation, Jace ran away from his mom’s home for a third time.
North Carolina Child Protective Services immediately took custody of Jace after he was found.
He remained in the child welfare agency’s custody until they suddenly dropped the case in 2024.
Jenelle and David’s relationship timeline

The tumultuous pair have had their fair share of falling outs
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans met David Eason on Tinder in September of 2015.
Jenelle got pregnant in April 2016 and announced she suffered a miscarriage, then she became pregnant again with her and David’s daughter, Ensley, a few months later.
The pair got engaged in February 2017 and tied the knot that September.
A year after saying “I do,” Jenelle called 911 and accused David of assaulting her outside their home. She would later call the incident “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding” and said she was “fine.”
In around May 2019, David shot and killed their French bulldog puppy named Nugget. Weeks after the incident, CPS took custody of all of the children, including their daughter, Ensley, Jenelle’s son, Kaiser, and David’s daughter, Maryssa.
When her children were returned to her, Jenelle fled to Tennessee with Kaiser and Ensley and filed an order of protection against David in October. She ultimately dropped the case and went back to him.
In the following years, the couple sparked split rumors as the pair would often unfollow each other on social media and update their Facebook relationship statuses.
As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, on February 23, 2024, Jenelle filed for separation from David. She stated that she filed the documents with “the intent that the separation be permanent” and claimed that Eason had “exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards [her]” throughout their marriage.
Jenelle faced a difficult situation, as she was set to regain custody of her son.
But there was a restraining order against her then-husband that barred him from being around Jace.
The 36-year-old dad moved into the couple’s docked boat while the Teen Mom star stayed with her children at their marital home until she moved to Vegas in the summer.
Jenelle filed for separation from David in February of 2024.
The former couple share Jenelle’s third and youngest child, daughter Ensley, 8.
Since then, she was granted temporary sole custody of Ensley.
Jenelle is asking the court for primary physical custody of Ensley and also wants child support.
