Eamonn Holmes Pleads for Prayers Over Ongoing Back Pain, took to Instagram on Friday to ask for “prayers” as he continues to battle ongoing back pain at the age of 65.

In a selfie from his car, the GB News presenter shared, “Even on sunny days, I still feel pain. Sometimes, it seems like I’ll never shake off this disc immobility, but I’m determined to live life to the fullest… so please pray for me, support me, or just step aside, social media critics.”

His followers quickly jumped in to show their support, with one saying: “Sending you a huge hug filled with love and wishing you a speedy recovery, you wonderful man.”

Another fan chimed in: “Sending positive vibes your way. You’ve got this, Eamonn,” while a third added: “I can relate, Eamonn. Every morning is a new beginning. Let’s always see our glasses as half full, not half empty.”

The television personality has been dealing with pain for several years and has kept his audience updated on his recovery journey.

Back in July, the former This Morning host shared a video of himself using an Alter G anti-gravity treadmill, captioning it: “Trying to remember what it feels like to have functioning legs.”

In his message to followers, he explained how the machine helps improve his mobility. “Hey everyone. This is my latest project. This device is called an anti-gravity treadmill, specifically an Alter G anti-gravity treadmill,” he started.

“The name ‘anti-gravity’ comes from the fact that I’m supported by a big balloon that helps take some of my weight off.”

In 2016, Eamonn had double hip replacement surgery after enduring severe pain for years. In a 2022 article for The Telegraph, he reflected: “Putting off the surgery was the worst decision I ever made. Since having both hips replaced at 55, I have no regrets; it’s truly been life-changing.”

Moreover, in 2021, Eamonn faced chronic back pain due to three slipped discs, which led to spinal surgery in 2022 to relieve the ongoing pain in his back and legs.
