Christy Turlington contacted her fellow 1990s Supermodel Linda Evangelista after hearing about her latest lawsuit.

Linda, 56, is suing over an allegedly botched CoolSculpting surgery, which she claims ‘brutally disfigured’ her and turned her into a ‘recluse’ with ‘depression.’

Now Christy has told Page Six that she ‘reached out’ to her friend after Linda went public with her allegations about the procedure.

They had already been in contact with each other ‘but not about stuff like that,’ focusing rather on ‘kids, school, and things like that.’

Before Linda called herself a ‘recluse’ on Instagram, Christy apparently had no idea that the fashionista had retreated from the world.

‘It seems from what I’ve read that’s what it’s done for her. It’s unfortunate. One voice out of so many that I’m sure have suffered through it,’ said Christy.

Linda revealed via Instagram in late September that she was suing the company Zeltiq over the CoolSculping procedure she underwent five years earlier.

She alleged that contrary to what was ‘promised’ the procedure ‘increased, not decreased my fat cells and left me permanently deformed even after undergoing two painful, unsuccessful corrective surgeries.’

The results, she wrote, ‘sent me into a cycle of deep depression, profound sadness, and the lowest depths of self-loathing. In the process, I have become a recluse.’

Christy commented: ‘You are loved,’ on the post, and other 1990s Supermodels also added their voices to the choir.

‘It is so important and beautiful when someone steps out of the shadow and are brutally honest and real,’ wrote Helena Christensen near the end of a long comment. ‘Thank you for being beautiful inside and out.’

‘Linda-your strength and true essence are forever recognizable and iconic! Bravo!’ wrote Cindy Crawford, referring to a part of Linda’s post where she remarked: ‘I have been left, as the media has described, “unrecognizable.”‘

‘Elos I applaud you for your Courage and strength to Share your experience and not be held hostage by it anymore ..,’ Naomi Campbell commented.
