Jay Dee Penn, better known as BJ Penn, was born in 1978, in Hawaii. From a very young age Penn was interested in Jiu-Jitsu. In 2001 Penn became a part of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, also known as UFC. He showed his good fighting skills and became acclaimed amongst others.

After some time BJ Penn started to work with the Fighting and Entertainment Group, and this caused some problems with the UFC. Penn again proved that he was one of the best fighters by winning some very important matches, which had a huge impact on the growth of B J  Penn’s net worth. Despite his many wins, Penn lost some matches as well. He has also experienced some injuries and this led him to him announcing an hiatus in 2011. After two years Penn came back and was a part of “The Ultimate Figther”. Despite his efforts, BJ lost some more fights and this time really decided to retire from the sport.

As mentioned before, BJ Penn is not only a professional mixed martial artist, but also an actor. He has appeared in such movies and television shows as “Never Surrender”, “Fighting Fear”, “Last Call with Carson Daly”, “Renzo Gracie: Legacy” and others.
