Andy Cohen addressed his shady side when he took to his SiriusXM show, “Radio Andy” to share his remorse about making light of Kate Middleton’s disappearance amid her cancer diagnosis. “I just want to say, I am heartbroken by the news about Princess Kate. And I think someone on Sky News called me a ‘numpty’ during that whole conversation and they were right,” Cohen stated. “Of course, I wish I had kept my mouth and we are all praying for Princess Kate and King Charles,” he added. “Don’t believe [you’re] really are heartbroken. [You’re] just heartbroken you got called out for it,” a YouTube user replied.
Fans on X, formerly Twitter, were quick to drag Cohen as well. “Perhaps what’s most disgusting is @Andy & Colbert’s complete lack of [acknowledgment] or accountability for the cruel act of recklessly endorsing the veracity of utterly baseless affair rumors which now further traumatically impacts two separate families(incl. 6 school aged kids),” a Kate supporter tweeted. “Too cowardly to say the word ‘sorry’ or to call her by her proper name,” another wrote. An X user went so far as to declare, “Andy Cohen should be sued for his comments about Princess [C]atherine.”
