She played Basanthi in the 1990 Telugu-language action film Neti Siddhartha, a remake of the Hindi film Dharmatma (1975) which itself is based on the American crime film The Godfather.
Ayesha Jhulka made her Hindi-language film debut as Chanda Prithvi Singh in the 1991 film Kurbaan. She co-starred in the film alongside Salman Khan.
Alongside the likes of Aamir Khan and Pooja Bedi, she co-starred as Anjali in the 1992 Hindi-language coming-of-age sports film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.
Opposite Mithun Chakraborty, Ayesha Jhulka was cast as Radha in the 1998 Hindi-language action film Himmatwala.
