Former Bachelorette star Ciarran Stott has revealed he’s been embracing sobriety for months after quitting alcohol.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Sunday, the Englishman, 28, said he decided to become sober after realising his binge drinking was out of control.

‘I’m sober at the moment and not drinking alcohol. I haven’t touch a drop for like four months, which obviously I feel really good about it,’ he said.

‘I make the biggest mistakes and generally I’m not a nice person when I consume alcohol I turn into a g***k,’ he added.

‘I also am working on my own personal development by going to a psychiatrist and getting to the root of why I act certain ways when I drink.’

Ciarran explained that drinking has affected his relationships in the past so he decided to quit alcohol and it ‘cut out 90% of his problems’.
