TV antique expert Christina Trevanion has been showcasing her new look on Instagram and previously explained how she managed to do it.

The star from Whitchurch is celebrated for her antique knowledge and appearances on several daytime shows such as Bargain Hunt, Antiques Road Trip, Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, and Flog It! She also occupies a role at Trevanion and Dean, an auction house in her hometown, and has co-hosted with figures like Eric Knowles, Roo Irvine, Natasha Raskin Sharp, and Charles Hanson.

Christina’s Instagram post, featuring her emerging from a clear sea in a black bikini, garnered attention from fans commenting, “Looking very sexy in your black bikini Christina. Have you considered modelling with your gorgeous body?” and another adding, “You’ve got my vote for the new Bond girl.”

And Christina said that ditching alcohol – apart from the occasional tipple with friends had been the key.

At 43, Christina has been vocal about her dedication to self-care, stating in a post reported by OK!, “It may sound naive, but it took me 41 years to understand that physical well-being is just as important as mental health” she said.

Reflecting on her life, she shared: “My 30s were consumed with ensuring everyone else’s well-being, being a parent and wife, managing a budding business and a TV career, leaving little time for anything beyond daily survival.”

She confessed: “For over a decade, I neglected ‘me’. Now in my 40s, I’ve realized the importance of self-care. I’ve never felt healthier, happier, stronger, or more fulfilled… may it continue! It’s crucial to stop pleasing others and start taking care of yourself; self-care is critical and revolutionary.”

Christina also disclosed her daily exercise regimen, saying, “I’ve achieved this by dedicating time each day for exercise.”

She concluded with the hashtag “sunrise yoga” to a post, indicating her love for the workout. And the secrets behind her transformation? Eating healthily and avoiding alcohol, she shared.

The TV personality, who recently had a health scare that saw her rushed to hospital, has shared how she ditched alcohol to get fit, “apart from the odd gandt, and a glass of wine with friends.”
