BEBE Rexha has posted a tearful video claiming that a gate agent banned her from a flight and threatened her after she spoke in Albanian to him.
The pop music singer shared her side of the story through wrenching sobs on her Instagram Stories on Saturday.
Bebe, 34, said, “The supervisor on Lufthansa is threatening me.”
She went more into detail in the caption by tagging the flight company, “I’ve been threatened because I thought the security agent was Albanian.
“I spoke to him in Albanian asking where to get my ticket and how he is banning me from the flight,” she concluded.
Her second post consisted of her sitting in the airport and crying.
In the third slide, she continued on with her story, “I believe this to be a hate crime because I am Albanian.
“He continued to mentally abuse me me to make feel more powerful than he was.
“Not one of the women at @Lufthansa stepped in or said something.
“He would not give me his name but I just found out he works for ATSG, a service company document control hired by Lufthansa,” she said.
ATSG, an American aviation contractor, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
In a fourth post, Bebe reshared a message from a fan pleading to get her out of the airport safely and urged Munich to investigate the person who reportedly “threatened” her.
‘WE DO NOT TOLERATE DISCRIMINATORY BEHAVIOR’
In a statement to The U.S. Sun, Lufthansa confirmed they are in contact with Bebe to get more information on the situation.
They said, “As an international airline, we connect people and countries around the globe. Our guests and employees come from all over the world.
“Diversity and equal opportunity are core values for our company and our corporate culture.
“We do not tolerate any discriminatory behavior of any kind.”
‘BEBE DOESN’T DESERVE THIS’
Many Bebe fans have shared her story on social media.
One person wrote on X, “Omg can’t she just live in peace?”
“She doesn’t deserve any of this,” said another.
A third said, “I’m getting so sick and tired of seeing Bebe being treated like this.”
“This is unacceptable,” someone else stated.
A fifth exclaimed, “Stay strong Bebe!”
