BEYONCE’S uncle has died at the age of 77.
Air Force veteran Rowland Martin Buyince – known as Butch – passed away over the weekend.
The star’s mum Tina Knowles, 70, took to Instagram to share an emotional tribute to Butch.
In a post shared with her 4.1 million followers, she said: “My Beautiful big brother Butch went to be with God this weekend. I will miss him so much! He was a career Air Force man.
“He loved riding motorcycles, was a black belt in karate and had the most beautiful green eyes and good looks.
“He was a great story teller.
“He had an incredible wife Jeanette and devoted daughter Dana, two beautiful grandchildren Yvette and Roland.
“He was greatly loved. Sail on Butch.”
Tina’s heartbreak comes just days after she joined superstar daughter Beyonce at the Luar fashion show in New York on February 13.
The pair sat front row as Texas Hold ‘Em singer Beyonce donned a cowboy hat and oversized sunglasses.
They were there to support her sister Solange’s model son, Daniel Julez J. Smith Jr., 19.
It comes as Beyonce, 42, celebrates her first UK single chart topper in almost 14 years.
The Halo singer has also become the first black woman to top the US Billboard country music chart.
Texas Hold ‘Em, which was released on February 11 during the Super Bowl, is expected to feature on her album which will be released on March 29.
Beyonce dropped the news minutes after Usher performed at the Halftime Show.
The R&B singer was in the crowd with Jay-Z to watch the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers compete for the title.
The star is now rumoured to be planning a residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas.
Her most recent stadium tour saw Beyonce performing 56 shows in 39 countries.
It has become one of the successful in history, and netted the superstar £455million.
