Joe Biden was in Los Angeles, California at the end of the week. I covered some of his lies about inflation and his incoherence. He claimed that Republicans would get rid of “savings” on Americans’ utility bills when there are no savings under Biden, everything is higher under him. He also said that “anything Maxine Waters says, I agree with,” a bad move given some of the crazy things she’s said, including when she encouraged violence against Trump officials.
But Joe being Joe, he slipped in a few more “lyin’ Biden” moments while he was in Los Angeles.
A reporter asked him about the gas prices in the area and the inflation numbers which has just come out. Biden’s response combined lie and incoherence.
Joe Biden brags gas prices are “still down over a dollar.”
Down from what? The nationwide average is still $1.51/gallon HIGHER than when Biden took office. pic.twitter.com/dGm2GShW92

“The inflation report is out. Have you seen gas prices around here in LA? It’s 7 bucks a gallon almost,” a reporter said after Biden paid for tacos and two quesadillas.
“Well, that’s always been the case here,” Biden replied.
“You know, it’s not — what — nationwide, they came down about $1.35, and they’re still down over a dollar. But we’re going to work on — housing is the big — is the most important thing we have to do in terms of that.”
What? First, no, gas has not always been $7.00 a gallon in Los Angeles. The gas prices in the area have always been among the highest in the country, but it was Joe Biden who drove it up to that number.
The average price of a gallon of gas in California jumped by 24 cents from $6.18 last week to $6.42 on Thursday—up $1.15 from a month ago ($5.27), according to data from AAA.
Prices are even higher in Los Angeles—which set a record this week with a gallon costing $6.49 on average, a 38-cent increase from a week ago—as well as San Francisco ($6.61) and Mono County, on the border of Nevada, which has the highest prices in the state ($7.29), nearly double the national average of $3.87.
Here are the AAA numbers in the Los Angeles area which show how much it jumped in the last week, the last month, and the last year.

Under President Donald Trump, the average in Los Angeles was $3.148 on Jan. 4, 2021, just before Biden came into office.
But then, second, what the heck does housing have to do with the gas prices here? Why is he saying that? I don’t even think he knows.
James Gallagher, the Republican minority leader in the California Assembly, tweeted, “Bidenism at its finest in LA today. High gas prices is a housing problem?”
“Biden on his ‘Where’s Jackie?’ Tour. He needs to retire,” wrote another Twitter user, referring to Biden’s gaffe this month in which he searched for the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) at an event, despite publicly mourning her death eight weeks prior and even calling her family to offer condolences.
Unfortunately, it looks like he’s continuing to deteriorate.
Biden also seemed to threaten Saudi Arabia once again.
Q What is your message to Saudi Arabia about this?
THE PRESIDENT: We’re — “We’re about to talk to you.”
Q You’re about to talk to —
THE PRESIDENT: We’re about to talk to them.
Q In what way, sir?
Q What are you going to say to them?
THE PRESIDENT: Stay tuned.
As we previously reported, Biden got disturbed when he tried to pressure them to put off the OPEC+ production cut for a month so the effect wouldn’t hit here in America until after the election. Talk about election interference and trying to deceive the American voters — there it was right there. And now he’s still threatening them. He seems to be doing all he can to push them into the hands of the Russians. They already didn’t trust Biden because of his fixation with making a deal with Iran.
