GWEN Stefani and Blake Shelton’s relationship has reportedly been on the rocks, and it seems like they can’t agree on a few important topics.
Gwen, 54, and Blake 47, have been married since 2021, but they’ve spent more time apart in the past few months.
Most recently, they spent New Year’s Eve in different timezones because they both worked on the holiday.
The country singer spent the evening performing at WinStar World Casino – which sits between Oklahoma and Texas.
Gwen, on the other hand, spent her night at an event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After the holiday, a source spoke to Life & Style claiming that Blake was “really upset” and “disappointed” that he couldn’t spend the night with his wife.
Their insider also alleged: “Gwen and Blake’s marriage is definitely in trouble.
“Lately, they’ve been at odds about everything from career decisions and the parenting of her three boys to where they spend most of their time.”
They concluded: “The tension continues to grow, and Blake and Gwen are drifting apart as a result.”
The U.S. Sun reached out to Blake and Gwen’s reps but did not hear.
BLAKE’S CUT OFF
At the end of the year, Blake vowed to cut back on drinking, despite having several hit songs and a game show revolving around alcohol.
He hosts a show called Barmageddon which debuted in early December 2022.
It’s a bar-themed celebrity game show where stars compete against one another in pub-based challenges.
Blake is a co-creator of the show along with Carson Daly, and Lee Metzger.
However, he opened up about his New Year’s Resolution during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
He admitted: “I haven’t managed to stop drinking yet. That’s been, you know, even cutting back has been hard.”
Blake continued: “I mean, it’s a resolution though. And I’ll say it again right now — that’s my New Year’s resolution.
“Is to either cut back or stop drinking altogether.”
BLAKE’S NEW GROOVE
Lately, Blake has been putting his energy into another business venture away from his wife.
The singer revealed he was focusing on another project in Las Vegas.
In November, Blake took NBC Today on a tour of the new Ole Red that is about to open in Sin City.
The venue is located on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, and it includes three floors and a rooftop with a luxurious restaurant and lounge.
Blake shared his excitement about the grand opening and his aim to more country artists to Vegas.
“There’s nothing like this in Las Vegas,” the God’s Country singer said.
“For the country music family, the industry, Nashville, to have a home base now in Las Vegas is obviously a big deal for me, and I’m going to brag on it.”
“I want them to leave having found a new favorite artist every time, and I want them to realize that we are putting talent in these places that could be the next big thing,” the Ol’ Red singer added.
Ole Red Las Vegas has yet to announce the exact date of its opening, but it’s supposed to open its doors this month.
