Latif Demolli, the secretary of the Kosovo Boxing Federation, confirmed the news. He stated that the date of the deceased’s funeral service is unknown at this time.
Peci died in the United States, where he had gone to live with his family a month and a half ago, according to Demolli.
Xhevdet Peci, also known as “Iron Fist,” was one of Kosovo’s greatest boxers.
Under the direction of instructor Lah Nimani, he was named champion five times with the boxing club Prishtina.
