Bradley Jay Little (born February 15, 1954) is the 33rd Governor of Idaho, having taken office in January 2019. He formerly served as Idaho’s 42nd Lieutenant Governor from 2009 to 2019. He is a Republican. Little served in the Idaho Senate from 2001 until 2009, chairing the majority caucus and representing Legislative Districts 8 and 11 (as of 2002 redistricting).[1] He defeated Democratic nominee Paulette Jordan in the 2018 gubernatorial election, giving the Republican Party their sixth consecutive gubernatorial victory in Idaho.

Little filled in for his father, David Little, in the Senate on a temporary basis due to sickness during the 1981 and 1985 legislative sessions, serving on the Finance and Resources Committees.
He has also worked with a number of private groups and businesses in Idaho and the Mountain West.
In May 2001, Governor Dirk Kempthorne selected him to fill a state senate vacancy in District 8, which included a piece of Gem County surrounding and north of Emmett, as well as all of Boise, Valley, and Adams counties, and the southern portion of Idaho County.
Following a redistricting adjustment in 2001-2002, Little was elected in the fall of 2002 to District 11, which then included all of Gem County and the northern section of Canyon County, including the villages of Middleton and Parma.
He was re-elected senator from the 11th legislative district four times after that. He was also voted by his Republican colleagues to the position of Majority Caucus Chair in 2003, which he maintained until 2009.
In 2018, he announced his candidacy for governor of Idaho. During the coronavirus outbreak, Little drew recognition for signing two legislation into law in 2020 that aimed to protect the rights of transgender people.
