VANDERPUMP Rules star Brittany Cartwright has changed her name.
The moniker switch came after the star’s sudden separation from her husband, Jax Taylor, 44.
The Vanderpump Rules notable had listed her name as “Brittany Cartwright Cauchi” on her Instagram bio.
In the bio info, Brittany, 35, previously used Jax’s legal surname.
It now reads, “Brittany Cartwright,” with a yellow heart emoji.
“Just a Kentucky girl living in a beautiful world. Cruz’s Mommy,” the text continued.
The former couple share their two-year-old son, Cruz.
The name change came after the former husband/wife duo called it quits.
‘REAL AND HONEST’
At the end of February, the Bravo star revealed the separation news on her and Jax’s joint podcast, When Reality Hits.
“Many of you guys have been asking me about Jax and I, and our relationship,” The 35-year-old said on the installment.
“I just think it’s important to be real and honest with you guys, because we’ve shared so much of our lives with you guys.
“Yes, marriages in general are very hard, and I’ve had a particularly rough year this past year, the podcast host continued.
“Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.”
“I’m taking one day at a time,” the hostess went on.
“I don’t know what the future holds, but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz.”
‘WE’RE TOGETHER’
This past Thursday, the former Sur bartender gave a shocking update on their relationship status.
He insisted that the pair’s separation was not a divorce.
“We’re together. We’re living in our home right now,” Jax told Page Six just hours after he left the gym.
“She was in a house for a while, but yeah, she’s back now.”
Jax confirmed when asked about how the separation is going.
“It’s not evil or nastiness.”
He mentioned that they are, “figuring it out,” and that the split feels “all fresh and new.”
“We’re just spending some time apart and just trying to re-assess, you know, our situation.
“We have a child involved and we just wanna do what’s best for our kid,” Jax finished.
THE VALLEY
It is unclear if the end of their relationship will play out when their Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley, debuts next month.
The cast of the spinoff included three former VPR cast members: Jax, Brittany, and original VPR star Kristen Doute, 40.
Kristen was fired from the reality show back in 2020.
However, she resurfaced at the end of Season 10 to console her friend, Ariana Madix, 38, amid the revelation of “Scandoval.”
Brittany and Jax tied the knot at their Kentucky wedding in 2019, which was filmed for VPR, and welcomed their son Cruz in April 2021.
