BROADWAY fans have raged over the handling of presale tickets for the new play, Romeo + Juliet.
The Broadway show stars The Hunger Games’ Rachel Zegler and Heartstoppers’ Kit Connor.
Early access tickets went on sale today for the upcoming play.
It begins previews on September 26 with the official opening on October 24.
Romeo + Juliet will run for 16 weeks only at Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City.
Fans can sign up at the official website to get tickets early.
However, after the news was posted on X, formerly Twitter, fans raged that they didn’t receive their access codes.
“Where are the codes though?” one fan asked.
“Codes coming late, still no info on dates or prices, and a long virtual waiting room that keeps increasing? Y’all gotta manage this better next time fr,” said another.
“I waited for a code (which arrived late) then waited over an hour in the queue and when it was supposed to be my turn I got sent back to the end of the line with an hour wait time. There’s gotta be a better way to do this,” added a third.
“How are yall gonna say codes send at 10 then send them ten mins late and now i have a 40 minute queue?” another fan raged.”
“Girl, where’s my presale code?” an X user asked.
“Not impressed. Been in a queue for 2 hours and when it’s finally my turn it booted me out and sent me back to over an hour wait time,” another fan said.
Tickets for the general public go on sale Thursday, May 23, at 10 am EST.
