Buckshot is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer who is best known for serving as the frontman of hip hop groups Black Moon and Boot Camp Clik. With Black Moon, he has worked on albums such as Enta da StageTotal EclipseWar Zone, and Rise of da Moon and with Boot Camp Clik, he has been a part of albums like For the PeopleCasualties of WarThe Chosen Few, and The Last Stand. Over the years, Buckshot has also released albums like The BDI ThugChemistry (with 9th Wonder), Backpack Travels (with P-Money), The Formula (with 9th Wonder), The Solution (with 9th Wonder), and Survival Skills (with KRS-One). Along with music and marketing executive Drew “Dru-Ha” Friedman, Buckshot co-founded the Duck Down Music record label in 1995.
