The health professional made a warning, speaking to Express.co.uk, about bloating and how overlooking the condition could be dangerous.
Dr Rupy, the founder of ‘The Doctor’s Kitchen’, which strives to educate about the medicinal effects of eating well, said: “The topic of bloating is a really important one, and I think it sounds like a trivial subject but in a lot of cases, bloating has nothing to do with the gut. It could be due to sinister causes.”

The doctor, also founding director of Culinary Medicine, a non-profit organisation teaching doctors and medical students the foundations of nutrition, claimed people should be aware bloating can nod to something dangerous.
