CARRIE Underwood has shared a bare-faced photo from her low-key Fourth of July and fans are loving it.
The American Idol winner snapped a selfie, sharing it to her Instagram Story on Thursday.
Carrie, 41, wore a themed tank top that read, “Go shorty It’s your birthday.”
There was a photo of the United States in the middle.
The Before He Cheats singer wore her hair in braided pigtails and had a grey hat on her head.
She was wearing a tiny pair of black shorts.
“Showing some [love] for the ole USA today while working in the garden! #America,” her caption read.
Carrie then showed off her lush garden, featuring a large trellis for her cucumbers to grow up.
“Cucumber cave!” she wrote over the pic.
She then snapped a pic of her compost pile, which had a large sunflower growing out of it.
Carrie shared a close-up of the flower as well.
“God can make beautiful things out of big ole messes!!!” her caption read.
CHANGING FACES
Fans of the country singer have noticed a major change in her appearance through the years.
She recently shared a video teasing new content on her fitness app, Fit52, that got supporters buzzing.
In the video, Carrie was dressed in athletic wear.
She stood facing the camera, smiling for her 13.2 million Instagram followers.
“OK, it’s time to work out, let’s do this,” she said before performing a series of moves.
“Show your legs some love this long weekend with a Flash Fit workout!” the caption, which features a leg and flexed bicep emoji, reads.
“Our fearless leader @carrieunderwood is bringing you a spicy session that will target and strengthen your lower body.”
“Complete 10 reps of each move and repeat the circuit three times for a quick and effective workout in under 15 minutes.”
“Who will be working their legs with us this weekend?”
Fans in the comments praised her fitness regimen and toned body.
“If this is gonna give me Carrie’s legs count me in,” one fan wrote.
“Nothing like a good legzersize,” exclaimed another.
Some fans, however, were focused on Carrie’s seemingly altered appearance.
“She looks different…but always fit,” wrote one user.
The musician famously suffered a freak injury back in November 2017.
“On Friday, Carrie Underwood took a hard fall on some steps outside her home,” her representative wrote in a statement provided to Today on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
“While there were no life-threatening injuries, she was taken to the hospital to be treated.”
“She sustained multiple injuries including a broken wrist and some cuts and abrasions from the fall.”
“Her husband, Mike Fisher, was able to make it back into town that night to be with her and she was released from the hospital.”
“Her recovery will take some time and she appreciates all prayers and well wishes,” her representative added.
Carrie opened up about her injuries in a May 2018 interview with People.
“It’s crazy how a freak random accident can change your life,” she said.
“In addition to breaking my wrist, I somehow managed to injure my face as well.”
“I’ll spare you the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told Mike that he had put between 40 and 50 stitches in.”
Carrie confessed that she didn’t look the same and was not sure she would ever look like her old self again.
SURGERY SPECULATION
In June, Carrie attended the Songwriters Hall of Fame 2024 Induction and Awards Gala.
She hit the red carpet at the event in a stunning silver mini-dress that showed off her toned figure.
Carrie had her blond hair styled in a middle part and loose waves and wore a full face of glam makeup.
Some fans felt her face looked dramatically different than it had in the past and asked if she had any procedures done.
“Carrie just went to far . She is unrecognizable. Pretty but something seems odd,” one person critiqued.
“She has hair ruined everything that was beautiful about her.
She’s just a mess…,” a second bashed.
“She’s a great singer but her outfit is hideous! And stop with the plastic surgery,” wrote a third.

Many supporters defended her, with one writing, “Who cares if she’s had work done? She looks beautiful. She can do whatever she wants to herself. People are so judgmental and annoying.”
