Sabrina Carpenter fans recently discovered her aunt voices a character on The Simpsons.
While most people know that Derek and Julianne Hough are siblings or that Barbra Streisand and James Brolin are married, they might not know about other connections.
But there are some shocking pairings, whether it’s cousins, siblings, spouses, or in-laws, that many fans do not know about.
Here are 10 celebrity pairs you might not know are related.
SABRINA CARPENTER AND NANCY CARTWRIGHT
Sabrina Carpenter can’t relate to desperation, but she can relate to someone else in Hollywood.
Her aunt is Nancy Cartwright, who voices Bart on The Simpsons.
On July 9, Nancy, 66, responded to a TikTok Q&A.
“Is Sabrina Carpenter your niece?” she read the question.

“Yeah, absolutely. Isn’t that amazing when you find out that somebody that maybe you’ve known me for a little while doing this 10-year-old boy for like 35-something years, and you find out I’m related to this superstar?
“She’s pretty amazing,” Nancy said in the video.
Nancy has been very supportive of Sabrina’s career, even posting a video of her performing on stage in 2016 – before she was famous – to her Instagram.
Sabrina, 26, is a pop singer and began her career on Disney Channel.
MELISSA MCCARTHY AND JENNY MCCARTHY-WAHLBERG
This one is more obvious because the women have the same last name.
Melissa, 53, and Jenny McCarthy, 51, are cousins.
They both grew up in Illinois and made it to Hollywood in their 20s.
Lenny Kravitz’s Famous Family
Lenny Kravitz is a music legend who gained recognition in the mid-1990s with the release of his album Circus. Fans also know him for the celebs in his inner circle. Below are some members of the star’s A-list family.
Lenny’s parents are Roxie Roker, who starred in the 1970s comedic sitcom The Jeffersons, and Sy Kravitz, who was a producer for NBC. Roxie died in 1995 from breast cancer, and Sy passed away in 2005. Lenny is also the cousin of the Today show’s chief meteorologist, Al Roker.
The singer married The Cosby Show actress Lisa Bonet in 1987 on her 20th birthday but split in 1993. Lisa later married Aquaman star Jason Momoa in 2017, though they parted ways in 2022. The TV star shares a daughter, Zoe Kravitz, who is engaged to Magic Mike frontman Channing Tatum, with Lenny. She is also a mother to daughter Lola Iolani Momoa, with Jason.

His real name is Jonah Hill Feldstein.
Their older brother, Jordan Feldstein, was manager of Maroon 5.
He died suddenly in 2017 from a blood clot.
Beanie and Jonah have been photographed together a few times, including at movie premieres and award shows.

Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci have a more shocking connection than most people would think.

Lenny’s mom is actress Roxie Roker, who played Helen Willis on the show The Jeffersons.
Al, 69, is Roxie’s second cousin once removed.
Roxie’s father, Albert, is cousins with Al’s grandfather.
Lenny, 60, and Al discovered their connection when the rocker appeared on the Today Show in 2011.
“All I know is I’m going with it,” Al said at the time.
“Kids think it’s cool.”
Lenny is also soon-to-be related to Channing Tatum, as he is marrying his daughter, Zoe Kravitz.

The actress actually screamed, “Oh my God!” when she found out.
“Austin and I always say that we’re like fraternal twins born very far apart because he’s much younger and we’ve always had that connection,” she said on the show.
Austin has always been like an uncle to her daughter, Jupiter, and her soon-to-be second child.
