CHRISTIAN Slater has been spotted on set of the upcoming Dexter spinoff and fans hardly recognized the former heartthrob.
The actor was sporting a dramatically different look on the set of the Dexter prequel, which will premiere on Showtime.
Christian, 54, was seen wearing a black T-shirt beneath a green jacket.
He had on a casual pair of jeans and brown boots.
The actor’s hair was shaggy, and he appeared to be smoking a cigarette.
Typically, Christian – who rose to fame in the 1980s – rocks a more polished look, sporting short hair and trendy clothes.
His on-set look was a stark departure from what fans have come to expect from him.

Dexter Origins, which has since been renamed Dexter: Original Sin, was announced in 2023.
Since then, a number of details have been revealed.
Christian, who famously appeared in Mr. Robot, was attached to the show in May 2024, according to Deadline.
He is joined by Patrick Gibson, who will play a young Dexter Morgan, and Molly Brown, who was cast as Dexter’s sister, Debra Morgan.
Christian will play Dexter’s father, Harry Morgan.
As previously reported by The U.S. Sun, Dexter: Original Sin will detail Dexter Morgan’s transformation into the accomplished serial killer fans will recall from the original show.
Showtime announced the launch of the spinoff, along with another Dexter-based show called New Blood, in 2023.
New Blood follows Dexter’s son, Harrison.

Scott Reynolds also serves as an executive producer on the show, along with Michael, Mary Leah Sutton, Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, and Robert Lloyd Lewis as a producer.
Michael Lehmann is due to serve as directing executive producer on the show.
He previously worked with Christian on Heathers.

Christian lives a relatively quiet life.
The actor is married to Brittany Lopez, with the pair tying the knot in 2013.
They quietly welcomed a child together in 2019 but did not reveal its name.
On April 30, 2024, the couple attended the Los Angeles premiere of Unfrosted together.
They revealed on the red carpet that they were expecting a second child together.
The baby is Christian’s fourth.
The actor also shares two children with his first wife.
His oldest child’s name is Jaden, born in 1999.
