A SMALL aircraft burst into flames after crashing close to a Colorado freeway on Tuesday.
The crash close to the Centennial Airport, positioned southeast of Denver, occurred at about 2.22pm native time.
Images from the scene confirmed the plane on fireplace on the bottom subsequent to the highway.
