In the Bears’ 16-14 triumph over the Lions on Thursday, Byrd caught four catches for 42 yards.

Because Marquise Goodwin was forced to leave the game early due to a foot injury, Byrd stepped in as the backup receiver to Darnell Mooney. Apart from his impressive stats, Byrd was wide open for a touchdown in the first half, but Andy Dalton failed to put enough air under the pass, resulting in an interception. Byrd might receive significant playing time if Allen Robinson (hamstring) and/or Goodwin are forced to miss more time, which could lead to mediocre fantasy production. The Chicago Bears defeated the Detroit Lions 16-14 on Thursday thanks to a 28-yard game-winning field goal by Cairo Santos. Under embattled coach Matt Nagy, who was fielding questions about his job status less than 48 hours before kickoff, the Bears (4-7) snapped a five-game losing streak.
