TARA Holt is a Californian actress who is dating horror actor Daniel Zovatto.
Daniel is starring in the hit Netflix film Woman of the Hour, which depicts the real-life serial killer Rodney Alcala’s horrifying crime spree. Here’s everything you need to know about Tara.
Born and raised in California
Tara was born on February 15, 1988, and was raised in California alongside her two brothers and her sister.
She attended Orange County High School of the Arts and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Fans might recognise her from her roles in American Horror Story, Californication and Marauders.
Tara keeps much of her personal life private, but regularly shares snaps of herself and her partner on Instagram.
She also works as a real estate agent for The Agency, a business run by Real Housewife of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richard’s estranged husband Mauricio Umansky.
Tara has a second Instagram account where she sells “luxury real estate” and says that she helps clients “build wealth”.
Meeting Daniel
Tara’s partner Daniel Zotto is renowned horror actor who has landed leading roles in It Follows, Don’t Breathe and Woman of the Hour.
He was born in Costa Rica on June 28, 1991, and moved to New York City to pursue acting.
Daniel has also had lead roles on hit TV dramas, such as Penny Dreadful: City of Angels and Here and Now (which also starred Holly Hunter).
It’s not known when the couple met, but they tied the knot on March 24, 2023, in an oceanside wedding.
Woman of the Hour
Daniel’s star continued its meteoric rise with Woman of the Hour, where he played real-life serial killer Rodney Alcala.
The film depicts how Rodney was nicknamed the Dating Game Killer, as he tries to charm a bacherlotte named Cheryl Bradshaw into picking him as her date.
Cheryl is played by Twilight and Pitch Perfect actress Anna Kendrick, who also directed the film.
Unbeknownst to her, Rodney was in the midst of a horrifying crime spree which saw him attack an 8-year-old girl named Tali Shapiro and a 16-year-old girl named Morgan Rowan.
He had also murdered a 23-year-old flight attendant named Cornelia Crilley, amongst several other victims.
The Netflix film is available to stream on the online platform from October 16, 2024.
