Bugg raised a significant sum for children with cancer with the help of her Coal City neighbors, family, and friends. She made it her personal goal to make sure that no other children had to go through what she had gone through.

Megan Bugg succumbed to cancer after a long and arduous struggle. As she succumbed to an aggressive illness known as Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, the world has lost a true hero.
Bugg had six relapses, nine operations, 140 weeks of chemotherapy, and 200 radiation treatments during his battle with cancer. Despite all of this, she eventually lost her struggle and is now at rest. ARMS is a virus that targets the body’s soft tissue.

Her advocacy for kids cancer resulted in a donation of more than $700,000 to childhood cancer research. Her accomplishments at such a young age are quite remarkable.
Her family has yet to release an obituary. The information on her wiki page is now unavailable. Following her death, however, social media was inundated with supportive messages and heartfelt condolences.
