Benjamin Mendy was born on 17 July 1994 and currently 27 years old. He is a French professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Premier League club Manchester City and the France national team.
Before moving to the premier league in 2017 with a world record transfer fee, Mendy spent four seasons in the French professional league, Ligue 1, where he won the national championship with Monaco. Mendy made his senior debut for France in 2017 after previously being capped by France youth teams at under-16, under-17, under-18, under-19, and under-21 levels. He was chosen in France’s squad for the 2018 World Cup which they won.
