- Leka, Prince of Albania (2016-2024) – She first met Leka, Prince of Albania (a claimant to the defunct throne of Albania and the head of the House of Zogu) in Paris while she was there for her studies. The duo eventually started dating and then got engaged in May 2010, after going out for a few years. She subsequently started accompanying him on most of his visits and meetings with members of royal families. On March 27, 2016, it was announced by Prince Skënder Zogu (a member of the Albanian Royal Family) that Elia and Leka would get married on October 8, 2016, in the Royal Palace in Tirana. On October 22, 2020, she gave birth to the couple’s first and only child together, a daughter named Geraldine Sibilla Francesca Susan Marie, at Queen Geraldine Maternity Hospital in Tirana. Their daughter was born on the 18th death anniversary of Queen Geraldine and was named in the queen’s honor. It was confirmed through Instagram on January 17, 2024, that Crown Prince Leka and Elia would be getting a mutual divorce.
