EMINEM has been lauded by fans after sharing a huge personal achievement.
The rap music legend let fans know about his milestone moment on Instagram on Sunday.
In the post, Eminem, 51, shared a photo of his hand.
The best-selling musician was in a black tee, showing off the tattoos on his forearm.
Beyond the tattoos, however, the object Eminem – real name Marshall Mathers – held in his hand grabbed his fans’ attention.
The Missouri native proudly showed off a sobriety chip, which illustrated a full tree alongside the number 16, reflecting his years without drugs.
In the comment section, fans quickly shared their pride in The Interview star’s 16 years of sobriety.
“Respect. So proud of you. Keep going forever,” one fan wrote.
“So proud of you, Marshall!! Congratulations to you!!” said a second.
“You made us a promise and man have you kept it. So proud of you!” added a third, along with crying and heart emojis.
“Cheers to 16 yrs, tomorrow will be 33 years clean, keep up the great work, keep your head held high you deserve it,” wrote another social media user.
“Amazing. Inspirational. The GOAT,” a final commenter praised.
FIGHTING BACK
Years ago, Eminem shared his 12 years of sobriety coin along with an inspirational message on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Clean dozen, in the books! I’m not afraid,” he wrote.
Prior to his sober commitment on April 20, 2008, the star battled through years of drug abuse.
Eminem was addicted to prescription pills Vicodin, Valium, and Ambien, and suffered from a methadone overdose in 2007.
“It’s no secret I had a drug problem. If I was to give you a number of Vicodin I would actually take in a day? Anywhere between 10 to 20.
I stayed for two weeks. I detoxed, I tried to work the program… but everything they were saying, I kind of in the back of my mind, I knew, ‘Man once I get out of here, I’m going right back to what I was doing.’

“Valium, Ambien, the numbers got so high I don’t even know what I was taking,” he previously shared.
Reflecting on his first rehab stint in 2005, a throwback clip shows Eminem admitting that he only lasted a week at home before turning his back on sobriety.
“I stayed for two weeks. I detoxed, I tried to work the program… but everything they were saying, I kind of in the back of my mind, I knew, ‘Man once I get out of here, I’m going right back to what I was doing.’
“There was like a little devil up in there telling me that that’s what’s going to happen.”
STRONGER THAN EVER
Eminem has been open about his sobriety journey, and fans haven’t held back in their support of the star.
During his most recent birthday, fans proved that his hard work had paid off after they admitted they couldn’t believe his real age.
Eminem turned 51 on October 17, and on X, fans gushed over his health and claimed he looked much younger.
“51??? he looks like 35,” one fan said.
“Well damn Eminem is 51. I feel old as cr**,” said a second.
While fans couldn’t get over Eminem being 51, they had similar feelings about his daughter, Hailie Jade, as she turned 28.
Alongside Hailie Jade, Eminem is father to, Alaina, 30, and adoptive daughter Stevie, 22.
