Footy superstar Cameron Munster has become a father, with his partner Bianca McMahon giving birth to a son.
The couple named the boy Jaxon Kian Munster, and he is the pair’s first child.
The Melbourne Storm five-eighth, 27, shared his happy new on Instagram, writing: ‘nothing will ever compare’ to the moment his son was born.
Munster became a dad just weeks after getting out of rehab for alcohol abuse, which he voluntarily entered in the wake of being fiend $130,000 and ordered to stay sober for a year.
He was punished for the infamous ‘white powder’ scandal alongside teammates Brandon Smith and Chris Lewis over a video that emerged after Melbourne lost the NRL preliminary final to Penrith.

Munster apologised in early October and pledged he would enter a treatment facility for four weeks and also not drink alcohol for 12 months.
He was axed from the club’s leadership group and handed a suspended fine of $100,000 by furious club officials.
The NRL also issued a fine for $30,000 and a one-game suspension.

After completing his rehab stint at the Banyans Health and Wellness in Brisbane, Munster returned for pre-season training in ‘good shape’, according to Storm boss Justin Rodski.
‘His mindset is really positive and we’re really looking forward to him having a big pre-season and focusing on making sure he puts all the necessary steps in place to improve himself as a person and as a player,’ he said.
‘I’m really confident in the work he’s put in already and the commitment he’s showed to getting better as a person will help him to be a better player as well.’
Munster also recently completed a four-week stint in rehab to address alcohol and gambling issues
Earlier this month, Munster also admitted to losing $50,000 in one day due to his gambling addiction.
‘At one stage I had no fingernails left. I’d be chewing them off while watching a race,’ he told the Daily Telegraph.
‘Some days I’d win and have a really good game. Other days I might lose a lot of money… it was like a rollercoaster. The days when you do your arse are shocking.
‘My partner (Bianca) knew when I lost money. I was snappy. I was always on my phone trying to find the next winner.’
Munster has also had his battles surrounding binge drinking, but is confident those days are over following the arrival of his son Jaxon.
