As a former Bachelor star, Helena Sauzier is no stranger to attending lavish parties and events where alcohol is served.
But on Wednesday, the blonde beauty revealed that she has given up the booze.
The 26-year-old said that she ‘didn’t like the way’ drinking made her feel.

‘Even one drink would make me feel flat or sometimes bring out a side to me that I didn’t like,’ she explained in a series of Instagram Story posts.
She recalled how she had done long stretches of going alcohol-free and ‘became obsessed with the feeling’ of being ‘clear, level-headed, energetic and happy’.
The blonde beauty explained that after those stretches, even having one drink would affect her.
She would try to cut back to one or two drinks, but found that focusing on keeping count was ‘not worth it’.

She added: ‘I would also come into a social situation on such a natural high, only to find my mood drop once I had a drink.’

‘Once everyone starts getting messy and sloppy I usually remove myself and never, ever get FOMO (fear of missing out),’ she said.
Helena admitted it can be hard to not have a drink like most people do before an event in the late afternoon, but she instead opts for a ‘sparkling water with a dash of cordial’.

Although the former reality TV star did not specify when exactly she gave up drinking, she has enjoyed plenty of improvements since.
‘My mood is more stable, my head so clear, my relationship is better (both with Tom and myself), my fitness is better, my mental health is thriving, my diet choices are cleaner,’ she wrote, referring her Olympic sailor boyfriend Tom Slingsby.
Helena rose to fame on season seven of The Bachelor with Matt Agnew, but only made it to the final three.
She then went on to star on season three of Bachelor in Paradise, but left the show single.
