FANS have praised Catt Sadler after she shared a video of her recovery from a facelift, neck lift, and blepharoplasty.
The E! News reporter has been open about her decision to go under the knife.
Catt, 49, shared an intimate video on Tuesday, celebrating one year since she had plastic surgery on her face, neck, and eyelids.
In the clip, the Daily Pop star lay in bed post-operation, wearing a long-sleeved black top, surrounded by pillows and blankets.
The journalist gazed at the camera with her head wrapped in white bandages that stretched from her chin to her hairline and across her forehead.
Two drainage pumps hung around her neck as she stared into a portable bathroom mirror on her lap.
Catt’s face was immovable in the clip as she took a first look at herself post-surgery.
“I can barely open my eyes,” she told a friend who was recording her, hardly moving her mouth as she spoke.
“They’re very open,” the companion encouraged, laughing, “You’re gonna love it.”
Catt then silently gazed in the mirror until she let out a shocked squeak, covering her eyes.
“Oh my gosh. Woa. Woa,” she gasped before the clip cut out.
CATT’S MESSAGE
Words appeared on screen throughout the video that read, “Exactly one year ago.
“Looking in the mirror for the first time after getting a facelift, neck lift, and blepharoplasty.”
She added a message in the caption, saying, “ONE YEAR LATER: I received a lot of criticism for my decision.
“I also received a lot of support. But frankly, I didn’t do it for you. I did it for myself.
“What I’ve learned, how I healed, what I didn’t expect, and why I am relentlessly committed to sharing the truth.
“It’s all in today’s solo episode of @cattsadlernow. #podcast.”
FAN SUPPORT
Fans flooded the comments section with words of praise for the TV star, thanking her for her transparency on the topic.
One shared, “I’m having Blerapheroplasty done in June. I will never apologize for doing what makes me feel better. It’s a personal choice.”
“I don’t know who criticized this. It’s the best facelift I’ve ever seen,” a second complimented.
“Do it for YOU! Never looked better inside and out,” a third encouraged.
“Wow, well done. You do you girl. Loved you since day 1, dont listen to the haters,” a fourth remarked.
“Authentic, awesome, beautiful, & brave (both the surgery & sharing it). xo,” a fifth agreed.
“Just listened to your podcast about this, and it was amazing and beautifully honest.
“Those who send you cruel comments are hurting within and it’s their problem, they are deflecting their own issues within themselves onto you,” another penned.
“Thank you for being you and sharing with us your true journey. You are beautiful outside but partly because you are beautiful inside,” they added.
