HANNAH Gosselin has reunited with her rarely-seen sister Leah, after their family’s years-long estrangement due to their parents’ feud.
The two siblings found fame as kids when they featured on the family‘s noughties TLC show, Jon and Kate Plus 8.
The eights kids in the family are made up of the sextuplets – Leah, Colin, Hannah, Alexis, Aaden, and Joel – and twins Mady and Cara.
After their father, Jon and mother, Kate, saw their marriage dissolve in front of millions of TV viewers, the “Plus 8” of the show were forced to choose which parent to live with.
While most chose their mom, Hannah and brother Colin moved in with dad Jon in 2018.
And ever since, Hannah and her siblings have had a hard time seeing each other regularly.
“She would love to spend time with them. It just hasn’t been possible,” an insider previously told US Magazine.
“They live in North Carolina [with mom Kate], while she lives with her dad [and brother Collin] in Pennsylvania. … It is sad.”
But now there is fresh hope of a reconciliation between estranged sisters Hannah and Leah.
It came after Hannah recently posted a picture of her with her with sibling Leah on Snapchat
Although it is unclear how long it’s been since they’ve seen each other, both seem happy to be reunited.
Discussing the pic on Reddit, one fan wrote: “I feel the older they get, the more we will see some dynamics shift as the kids transition to be on the outside looking in…”
While another said: “I’m glad they are hanging out together. They used to be really close. Both are really pretty too.”
This one commented: “This makes me so happy, i hope all the siblings can reunite eventually.”
CUSTODY BATTLE
Jon ended up with custody of Hannah and Collin after a fierce custody battle with ex Kate, which has been going on since 2010.
Kate has custody of kids Leah, Alexis, Joel and Aaden, all 20, while twins Mady and Cara, both 24, have been away at college.
In 2021, Kate sold her Pennsylvania home and relocated further south to North Carolina, putting even more distance between herself and Jon.
Sadly since then, Hannah hasn’t seen her brothers and sisters, according to the insider.
The source said: “Hannah hasn’t seen her brothers and sisters in a long time, since they moved to North Carolina.
“She is ready to leave her small-town life and subzero temperatures and hopes maybe one of her brothers or sisters will choose the same area for college.
“She never regrets her choice to live with her Dad and going away together on daddy-daughter trips like this are just a reminder of that.
“She feels so lucky to have so much personal attention, having grown up in a household of eight kids, and getting some alone time with her father.”
