This is the heart-stopping moment a ‘drunk’ man narrowly avoids being hit by an oncoming train after jumping onto the tracks.
Video obtained by MailOnline shows a man clambering back onto the platform at Yatton railway station in Somerset on Friday at around 8pm.
An eyewitness said the man and his girlfriend were drinking alcohol and arguing before she threw a bag containing his shaver onto the tracks.

The man apparently then began yelling ‘who wants a fight’ at other passersby before kicking a sign for a station cafe off its post.
The eyewitness told MailOnline: ‘I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It was very bizarre and frankly people like that shouldn’t be allowed out.
‘I mean, the temerity of someone jumping onto the tracks like that and joking about touching a speeding train – just so weird.’
MailOnline has contacted British Transport Police for information.
