A home cook has turned a classic campfire treat into the ultimate s’mores pies that are oozing with chocolate and gooey marshmallows.

The Australia mother found a creative way to put a pastry twist on the gooey dessert by using just three ingredients in her $29 Kmart pie maker.

She switched the biscuits for frozen puff pastry, and filled each pie to the brim with milk chocolate and marshmallow fluff.

  • Frozen puff pastry
  • Marshmallow or Fluff

‘S’mores pies are so easy to make,’ she said in a Facebook group.

‘You can use whatever chocolate you like. I used milk, dark chocolate or Cherry Ripe. Puff pastry for top and bottom and a jar of Fluff – this marshmallow in a jar is amazing.

‘I got the Fluff from Coles next to the Mexican food but you can use just marshmallows if you can’t get it.’

She said you can add any other flavours to the filling such as cinnamon sugar.

Many said they s’mores ‘look incredibly delicious’, while others revealed they never knew marshmallow in a jar existed.

‘Where on earth do you get marshmallow fluff from? Never heard of it,’ one woman said, while another added: ‘I need to know where to buy the fluff!’

Another woman said: ‘I’ve seen that marshmallow fluff sold at the Reject Shop also. Haven’t been game enough to try it as I just know I’d eat the whole jar.’

Others said normal marshmallows will work just as well as the fluff alternative.
