White shared the news on Monday’s edition of the game show and went on to post a sweet tribute on her Instagram.

At the end of Monday’s Wheel Of Fortune, Vanna White revealed her cat Stella had sadly died.

Announcing the news to Wheel Of Fortune viewers, White referred to Stella as having been a “member of the family.” A tribute to the host’s beloved pet was later shown, which included a collection of pictures and videos of Stella.

Following the show, White also shared a tribute to Stella on her Instagram in a post to her 76,100 followers.

While sharing a snap of her snuggling up to Stella, the host gushed about how she “will cherish the special memories” they shared over the years.

How old was Vanna White’s cat Stella?

In the post announcing the loss of Stella, Vanna White revealed she was 16 years old as the presenter reflected on their years together.

White previously opened up about how she welcomed Stella into her family as she told PeoplePets in a past interview that she and her daughter spotted Stella while walking past a pet store.

She explained: “My daughter and I just happened to be walking by the store and stopped in to see the pets. Lo and behold, my daughter fell in love with Stella – and there was no going back!”

Over the years, the Wheel Of Fortune co-host has spoken of Stella while chatting with fellow host Pat Sajak on the classic game series.

In October, the two discussed Stella’s talents as White joked about how Stella was fascinated but YouTube videos of birds and squirrels.
