“Although the effect is small, such effects could be important for cardiovascular health at population level,” the study adds.

When it comes to the risk of heart disease and black tea, The American Journal of Medicine offers the answer.

Their research found that regular intake of this tea may help reduce various risk factors for heart disease, such as high cholesterol, elevated triglyceride levels and obesity.
