HOWIE Mandel has claimed his wife Terry was under the influence of ‘marijuana gummies’ when she fell and ‘cracked her head open’.
The America’s Got Talent judge found his wife covered in blood back in February.
Howie, 68, shared more details on the frightening injury during an appearance on TMZ Live.
Terry fell while staying at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas early this year.
The TV personality assured fans that Terry was not drunk when she fell.
According to his story, she was under the influence of marijuana edibles at the time and fell while walking around their hotel room.
Howie was asleep at the time.
He shared the new detail in an effort to clear up rumors he accidentally started when he first talked about the incident on Live With Kelly and Mark.
During the appearance, Howie said that Terry was “tipsy” when the incident occurred.
He said on TMZ Live that he didn’t want to say that his wife was high, so he used the term “tipsy” instead.
Howie also shared with TMZ that after the incident, he was nearly accused of domestic violence.

Host Kelly Ripa inquired about Terry’s condition after Howie revealed that she had fallen months earlier.
He shared with the TV personality and her husband, Mark Consuelos, that Terry was a bit tipsy when they returned from dinner that evening.
He claimed she got up in the middle of the night, slipped, and hit the wall and wainscotting, which is a type of paneling that goes around the lower portion of a wall.
“As she went down, she hit that, hit her eye, and then fell on the floor and broke her cheek,” he shared on the show.

The comic said that he heard a bang, and a scream, and woke up to his wife on the floor.
Howie recalled calling out to Terry, asking where she was.
She was confused, telling her husband she did not know.
He showed a photo of her injury on the show, revealing a severely bruised eye, a gash on her forehead, and several bruises on her face.
Howie said he can’t look at the photo himself.
TERRY’S TRAGEDY
The game show host said he went searching for his wife and found her face down in the corner.
“I didn’t know that she cut her head, but blood was pulling from her,” he revealed.
“I freaked out. I picked her up and put her on the bed. There’s blood everywhere.”
Howie said that he grabbed towels from the bathroom as Terry requested ice.
He couldn’t find ice, so he handed her a can of soda and put it on her head.
Dissatisfied, she tossed it across the room, claiming that it hurt her.
Howie took two sodas, wrapped them in towels, and put the to her head.
She threw those, too.
“When she did that, you could actually see her skull. It opened up,” he said.
“So, I freaked.”
Howie called down to the front desk and told them to call 911.
The hotel security arrived instead, taking photos of the room and the injuries.
Howie decided to take matters into his own hands, taking Terry to the hospital.
Terry, who was holding a towel to her face, told Howie to get a doctor.
When the doctor arrived at the room, she told him that she could not see out of her left eye.
“The doctor said, ‘Just take the sheet off your face.’ That’s how drunk she was,” he said.
He revealed that months later, Terry is “absolutely perfect.”
There is no scar or mark on her eye.
Howie and Terry married in 1980.
They have three children together.
