1. After graduating college, he worked as a trainee in a software company but eventually decided to pursue a career in acting.
2. In 1986, Indrajith Sukumaran made his first film appearance as a child artist in the Malayalam-language thriller film Padayani.
3. He brought to life the character of Pious George a.k.a. PG in the 2006 Malayalam-language coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama film Classmates.
4. In 2007, he was cast as Manas (Sajani’s brother) in the Indian-British period drama film Before the Rains.
5. Indrajith Sukumaran made his first Hindi-language film appearance as an Investigation Officer in the 2010 thriller film The Waiting Room. He co-starred in the film alongside Raj Singh Chaudhary, Radhika Apte, Sandeep Kulkarni, and Prateeksha Lonkar.
