Ebenezer Scrooge is not a real person but just a fictional character.

This elderly character is well known from the novel and TV series A Christmas Carol. However, we found that the role of Ebenezer was played by Guy Pearce in the 2019 released miniseries.

As per Wikipedia, the said novel incorporates the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and ghost spirits. The ghost of Scrooge’s ex-business partner Jacob Marley visiting him and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come are documented in the novel.

Later, following the visits of those ghosts, Scrooge transforms into a kinder and gentler man.

Later, as noted in BBC, he changes and eventually turns into a soft, changed, and wealth-sharing man after being shown the reflection by three or four ghosts that struck fear and regret in his heart. 

With experience and scenes presented by his ghost friend, Scrooge’s turned his aloof personality into a loving, sharing, and caring one.
