ISABELLA Strahan has donned a pink crop top as she prepped for her major Good Morning America interview with her dad Michael.
The pre-interview prep session was included in a behind-the-scenes video posted to Isabella’s YouTube vlog.
The vlog documents the 19-year-old’s cancer treatment journey.
In a video upload titled, “Behind the scenes of my Good Morning America interview with Robin Roberts,” Isabella did a “get ready with me” to show her followers her day leading up to the interview.
The video began with the college student in bed before cutting to her being questioned in the backseat of her car by her dad’s girlfriend, Kayla Quick.
Kayla asked, “What are you doing at GMA?”
“Doing an interview with Robin Roberts for… what’s going on. So tune in,” Isabella responded cheerfully.
Kayla pressed, “What is it about?”
Playing coy, Isabella replied, “It’s about me,” before adding, “What I’ve been going through for the past two months.”
The teenager then admitted that she was excited about the interview, even if she was a little nervous and worried.
Smiling she told Kayla and her fans watching, “Hopefully I will do good and it will be good.”
Isabella was later shown walking through Times Square before she entered the GMA studios.
She was led to the dressing room where she ate a small breakfast and had her makeup applied by a makeup artist.
Isabella then changed into her interview outfit which included “bougie” pants, a pink blazer, and a pink crop top sweater.
As she modeled the ensemble, she told Kayla, “This is the fit. I’m feeling business casual.”
She was then visited by Michael, 52, who knocked on the door and asked if they were done before entering and helping his daughter with her earrings.
He massaged her back, showing her love and affection as she readied to make the announcement.
Isabella was then shown meeting with, and sharing a sweet moment with Robin Roberts, 63, before cutting to a clip of the interview in which Michael opened up about her strength and confessed how proud he is of her.
ISABELLA’S BATTLE
During the interview, Michael and Isabella revealed her brain tumor diagnosis.
The father-daughter duo announced her health news on January 11, three months after she was diagnosed.
They appeared on GMA and talked to Robin about Isabella’s symptoms and what’s next for her in terms of treatment.
The 19-year-old was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, which is a rare condition that accounts for about 20% of all childhood brain tumors, according to the Journal of Clinical Neuroscience.
She had to have emergency surgery to remove a golf ball-sized mass in the back of her brain.
While sitting down with Robin, Isabella burst into tears while talking about how rare her condition is.
THE SYMPTOMS
Isabella said she started experiencing headaches, but they weren’t like the ones that she had had before.
She then said that she became nauseous and couldn’t walk straight.
The model chalked up her balance issues to vertigo.
However, one morning when Isabella got out of bed and threw up blood, she knew that something was majorly wrong.
So, she called her twin sister, Sophia, who then alerted the rest of the family.
Isabella was rushed to the hospital and taken in for emergency surgery.
She just finished chemotherapy and will be starting radiation very soon.
