WILLOW Smith has been seen with her mom Jada for the first time since her Malibu home was destroyed in the Los Angeles wildfires.
The U.S. Sun has obtained exclusive photos and video of the mother-daughter duo out for lunch on Sunday, close to Jada’s home in Hidden Hills.
The pair braved heavy rain that has been welcomed by residents as fires continue to rage in California.
Aerial photographs previously revealed Willow’s $3.1 million beach pad in Malibu was among the hundreds of properties reduced to rubble earlier this month.
At lunch with her mom, the singer was seen wearing a long floral coat and wide-legged dark trousers with a fun animal hat with tassels and eyes.
Jada, 53, opted for a cream puffer coat, matching trousers, and white sneakers, along with a pink wool hat and scarf combo.
She also added a pair of shades as she attempted to go incognito at the restaurant.
An eyewitness said the pair chose a table outside despite the cold weather and caught up for more than an hour before leaving a cash tip for their waitress.
At one point, Jada appeared tense and animated as she seemed to be explaining something to her daughter, who was seen staring ahead.
After grabbing lunch, they made their way over to the valet and were seen waiting in the rain for their car before driving off together.
OCEAN VIEWS
Willow was back in The Valley after she was evacuated from her home and it burned to the ground.
The singer, 24, purchased the four-bed, five-bath property back in 2020, which had floor-to-ceiling glass walls.
According to online listings, the scenic retreat was completed in 2011 and offered 2,984 square feet of space on just shy of half an acre of land.
It was situated on a private cul-de-sac street only one mile from Pacific Coast Highway and offered panoramic ocean views.
The huge master suite had a fireplace and spa-style bath, while the home also offered French oak wood floors, and custom windows with window seats.
The single-story property was built with solar power, a greywater recycling system, and a two-car garage with a Tesla charging station.
Willow has been banking cash after making a name for herself in music away from her famous family since topping the charts with her single Whip My Hair in 2010.
She also previously appeared on her mom’s Facebook show, Red Table Talk.
The wind-fueled flames didn’t spare the homes of the rich and famous and Willow was one of many stars whose houses turned to smouldering rubble.
Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Paris Hilton, Mandy Moore, Joshua Jackson, and Milo Ventimiglia were just some of the celebs who lost their properties.
Other stars like Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg had their homes narrowly spared in the fires.
Thousands were evacuated and even Jada’s Hidden Hills enclave was in the danger zone for a period as flames ripped through the nearby hillsides.
The Kenneth Fire, which was close to Hidden Hills, has since been contained.
FAMILY BREAKDOWN
Willow is likely back living with her mom who lives alone in a mansion after admitting she and her husband, Will Smith, have been living “separate lives” since 2016.
They had been keeping up appearances as a couple for years, including the famous Academy Award night when Will slapped comedian Chris Rock for joking about his wife.
But behind closed doors, they were not as united as they portrayed in public.
Jada discussed their split for the first time in an interview with Hoda Kotb on The Today Show.
Discussing the reason for the separation, she said, “Why it fractured…that — that’s a lot of things … By the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying.
“I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be.”
Jada added that while he has considered a legal divorce, she has never been able to go through with it.

“I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce. We will work through … whatever,” she said. “I just haven’t been able to break that promise.”
She went on, “We don’t want to. We love our family. And we love each other. It’s more of a life partnership. Ten years from now, Hoda, who knows?”
Jada, who tied the knot with Will in 1997, also opened up about their rollercoaster marriage in her book, Worthy, released in 2023.
Will gave a statement to the New York Times after reading her memoir, in which he said the book reminded him of how strong his wife truly is.
“When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in,” the Oscar-winning actor wrote.
“You can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.”
Although Willow has never fully commented on her parents separating, she did share a cryptic post after her mom first spoke out in the media.
Willow shared a text card that defined the word “resentment” on her Instagram Story.
“Resentment is literally the experience of feeling something over and over again (re-sentiment),” it read. “It’s being stuck in a loop. A helpful question to ask myself is, ‘Do I want to keep feeling this way?’ If the answer is no, then I get to remind myself that I can choose to feel differently.”
Her parents also have a son, Jaden, 26, together, while Will has a son, Trey, 32, with his ex-wife, Sheree Zampino.
