“Jamie died the day before yesterday. Jamie was a highly loved and accomplished son, brother, nephew, and uncle who was well-liked and respected by his many friends and colleagues in the music business and beyond. We are all really devastated.”
DJ and producer Paul Woolford paid homage to Roy on social media, adding, “there was nobody like him.” The article continued:
“One in every eight billion. He lit up each room he entered. A very remarkable human being. It’s difficult to believe. Say it isn’t so…”
