The family was headed to perform on Gaither Homecoming Alaskan Cruise, a seven-day cruise from Seattle, Washington, to Alaska.

Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, along with their daughter Amber Nelon Kistler, lost their lives in the crash, leaving their youngest daughter Autumn Nelon Streetman behind.

Autumn is pregnant with a baby boy, which lead her not to join her family onboard the jet headed toward Seattle.

Four others on the plane died, including Autumn’s brother-in-law Nathan.

One day after her family’s death, the daughter shared a post on Instagram expressing her sadness over her loss and thanking fans for their support.

“As many of you have heard by now, my father and mother, Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, along with my sister, Amber and brother-in-law, Nathan, as well as our dear friends Melodi Hodges, Larry and Melissa Haynie were involved in a tragic plane crash on Friday,” the star captioned a picture of her family.

“Thank you for the prayers that have been extended already to me, my husband, Jamie, and our soon-to-be-born baby boy, as well as Jason’s parents, Dan and Linda Clark.

“We appreciate your continued prayers, love, and support as we navigate the coming days.”

In the caption above Autumn’s comments, the Gaither Management Group, posted a statement regarding the heartbreaking tragedy.

“One of the best loved Gospel music families in America, The Nelons were involved in a tragic, fatal plane crash on Friday afternoon on their way to join the Gaither Homecoming Cruise to Alaska,” the group wrote.

The statement named the victims and informed fans that Autumn and her husband were safe.

“They were brought to the hotel where artists were gathered with Bill and Gloria Gaither to pray, sing and embrace them in their grief, pledging to support them in whatever needs arise.”

Fans filled the comments with sympathy for the singer and prayers for her deceased family members.

“I don’t know how to heart this post,” one commenter wrote.

“You have thousands and thousands of prayers being lifted for you at this time of loss. My heart is holding you near,” she continued.

“Absolutely broken for you and praying for a peace that passes understanding because this is truly unfathomable.”

Friends and fellow performers also spoke out about their devastation following the crash.

“Our hearts are heavy with the news of the tragic passing of our dear friends,” singer-songwriter Mark Lowry exclusively told The U.S. Sun.

Lowry was set to perform alongside the Nelons on the Alaskan cruise.

“We have created so many precious memories over the decades that I will hold dear, so many good times and so much laughter.

“Our only comfort is knowing that they have seen our Savior face to face, and we’ll join in singing with them again one day soon.”

The trio’s plane reportedly went up in flames as it crashed over Wyoming, sparking a huge wildfire.

Emergency crews immediately responded to the scene, but unfortunately, everyone on board lost their lives.
