Jets assistant coach John Benton was arrested and charged with driving below the affect late Thursday evening.
Benton, 58, was pulled over by the New Jersey State Police shortly earlier than midnight Thursday on I-287 in Morristown for a motorcar violation. The police suspected he was below the affect and he was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI. Benton was processed and launched, based on a police spokesman.

Benton is getting into his second season with the Jets because the staff’s offensive line coach and run sport coordinator. Benton has coached within the NFL since 2004, working with the Rams, Texans, Dolphins, Jaguars and 49ers earlier than becoming a member of the Jets.
